Newsletter Who likes to talk about things that are taken for granted? The fact that products have to reach distributors, sellers and/or end customers reliably and without any impairment of quality is a compulsory task. The fact that every product must be clearly traceable is standard today. That every station in the distribution chain makes a profit is a normal requirement.
What is new is something else: producers expect such complex process chains to be depicted in an easily understandable way. Disruptive factors should not only be minimized in general, but should be autonomously recognized and eliminated at the moment of occurrence. The systems used for this purpose should behave intelligently themselves and actively contribute to solving the problem.
